FOTP Derby Duck Meeting 5/10/12
The next DERBY DUCKIE Meeting will be at 6:45-7:30 at the Wunderbar Coffee Shop ...this will be the FIRST collection day of your ticket stubs & money, if you are selling tickets. Simply, drop off and go!! ALL stubs & money are due by 5/20.

Pool Opening Day 5/26/2012
Pool opens at 12:00 PM. To join the pool this season, print the Pool Membership Application.
Derby Duckie Race 6/2/2012
At 10:00 AM. Duckies are dropped from the Zelienople bridge on N. Main St., $1,000-$500-$250 given, plus 50 other prizes. Anyone interested in selling 10 tickets, offer a gift card or prize, or wanting to be on the committee, please contact Alecia Flood.
Swim Club Meet Dates
SWIM CLUB MEET DATES: Tuesday June 12, Tuesday June 19, Tuesday June 26, and Thursday June 28. Please note that the pool will CLOSE to members/public at 5pm these days.
Youth Sports Camp 6/18/12 - 8/10/12
The Get Fit Families Summer Camp Program at the Zelienople Community Park will provide three different camps: Triathlon, Sports Conditioning and Cross Country. Register online at www.getfitfamilies.com or by mail, registration form.

What is Friends of the Park?
The Community Park situated within both Zelienople and Harmony has been the source of wonderful times and great memories for most of the residents of our community. The park was maintained by local business men and residents for years as a private organization. Several years ago, the Park Association sold the land that the park sits on to the borough of Zelienople. The expense of updating the pool and the park has now far exceeded the money that the park brings in for annual membership. Our children and our grandchildren are entitled to the wonderful times we treasure from this wonderful place. Please consider making a donation to the preservation of heart of what makes our hometown so special.
Our Mission
The Friends of the Park is a nonprofit group founded with the mission of preserving and enhancing the Zelienople and Harmony Community Park. The focus of the group is to raise awareness of the benefits associated with our park. Individuals, the community, the economy and the environment gain value from the existence of local parks. In order to sustain these benefits this group will raise money through volunteering and support from the community and local businesses.

Zelienople Community Park Tennis & Basketball Court Renovation Fund Drive
The Zelienople Community Park is announcing a fund drive to revitalize the tennis/basketball court area in the park. Our goal is to make all the necessary renovation and repairs so that we will be able to host events, tournaments and run youth tennis and basketball camps. We need to raise $100,000 to completely redo the tennis courts and basketball area. This project is projected to be finished by June of 2013, depending on how much money is raised of course.
