Inclement Weather/Pool Closings/Delays
Pool Policy

• Zelienople Borough Pool may close at any time due to inclement weather or low attendance.
• The Zelienople Pool may close or not open if the outdoor temperature is at 70 degrees or below or if attendance drops below 10 patrons.
• If the bottom of the pool cannot be seen due to rain, the pool will be cleared until the rain subsides.
• The Zelienople Pool staff will clear the area at the first sound of thunder or sight of lighting. Patrons will not be permitted back in the water until half an hour (30 minutes) has passed between the last sound of thunder or lighting. If the pool stays closed for 1 hour (60 minutes) or more, the pool may remain closed for the remainder of the day.
• If the Zelienople Pool remains closed, no cash refunds will be issued for daily admissions.
• The Zelienople Pool may close due to the loss of power, safety or maintenance issues that need to be addressed.
• It is the discretion of the management team to determine staffing levels for safe operations and to be open.
• Concession stand may close or not open under the discretion of management.

Pool Rules & General Information
Children ages 14 and under must be accompanied by a person 18 or older at all times at pool manager’s discretion. Children 2 and under are free with adult admission and must always be accompanied by an adult. Just a reminder that inflatable water wings are not permitted on infants/children/young swimmers. Only Coast Guard approved flotation devices are permitted. An adult must be in arms reach of anyone wearing a flotation device. Squirt guns are not permitted. No glass bottles or containers are permitted in pool area.
